Khampa nomads tend to be a practical people.  As times change, they see no reason their arts should not also change.   Our artists are continuously inventive, and have come up with a variety of modern-use items, fit for current lifestyles – where one might ride in a car rather than on a horse; one might carry a cell phone rather than a long sword; and one might need a key-chain rather than a horse-tail decoration!
