The back is an embroidered flower. Lined with cotton, with handwoven
Tibetan sheep wool sides, and an adjustable yak leather strap.

Made of coarse yak belly hair, this bag is from Shamalong village.  In Tibetan culture, fish remind people about the gentleness and vulnerability of animal life, and our responsibility to protect it.  Fish were chosen because "they have no tongues" and cannot speak for themselves.   The back side has a embroidered spiral.  Lined with cotton, which handwoven Tibetan sheep wool sides, and an adjustable yak leather strap.
