saddle pads & mats

KHAMPA HERDERS make a large variety of horse saddle pads, which are perfect for use as a meditation mat, under the cushion (see meditation cushions, under Contemporary Items below), or of course for a saddle pad.   Saddle pads are in bought felt, leather, and woven yak-hair tops.  Bottoms are made of handmade Tibetan wool felt.

LHAGANG SADDLE PAD WITH DETAIL: yak leather.  

HORSE BLANKET: one layer of woven yak-hair, with design, backed with a layer of handmade wool felt.  Also used as bed pad or rug, as pictured.

THREE-LAYER YAK HAIR SADDLE PAD: three-layer woven yak hair saddle pad, for use with yak saddle.  It is flexible and has a design.  Goes with horse blanket pictured above.

LHAGANG FOUR-LAYER YAK HAIR SADDLE PAD: four-layer woven yak hair saddle pad, for use with yak saddle. It is firmer than the former. Also goes with horse blanket pictured above.

COLORFUL FELT SADDLE PADS: these are handsewn with bought factory-made felt and other materials.  Used usually for horses.  In green, yellow, and red.
